AUDITIONS: September 21, 2024

Individual auditions: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Choreography, & vocals for “Hard Knock Life” (under 18): 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Callbacks: Sunday, September 22, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Ages: Adults (18+) and Young Artists (currently in 2nd grade – 18 yo) are eligible. You must complete both steps below:

  • Fill out an audition registration HERE

Performances: December December 6, 7, 12, 13, & 14 at 7:30 p.m. and December 8 & 15 at 2:30 p.m.

Rehearsals: Saturdays: September 28, October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (10am-1pm); Sundays: September 29, October 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24 (2-5pm); Mondays-Thursdays: October 14 – November 26 (excluding October 17 & 31, November 27 & 28)

Tech Rehearsals: December 1, 2, 3 & 4 (no rehearsal December 5 – Ennis Christmas Parade)

Individual auditions for everyone will take place from 10:00 am – 2:00 p.m. and actors under 18 are called from 3:00-5:00pm for choreography, and vocals for “Hard Knock Life”. (Please sign up for a time at the link above; If under 18, you must come for your individual time slot and may leave and come back for the choreography/vocal at 3:00pm)

For the individual audition, please prepare to sing a 30-45 second portion of a song. Use the karaoke version of a song you like and be sure to DOWNLOAD the karaoke track to your phone or tablet before you arrive at the theatre so that you aren’t waiting for Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, or Amazon Music to load during your audition. Each auditionee will have five minutes, so it is important to have the music cued up and ready when you come in the room.

After you sing your prepared song, you may be asked to read lines from a scene, and/or sing vocal scales with our music director to see your vocal range.

ANNIE – A street-wise orphan; she is eventually taken in by Oliver Warbucks. Spunky, friendly, big-voiced.

ORPHANS – The other girls in the orphanage with Annie. These girls are gritty, neglected and vulnerable, yet basically honest and potentially loveable. Includes Molly, Kate, Tessie, Pepper, July, and Duffy.

SERVANTS – The servants at the Warbucks mansion. Includes Drake, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, and Annette.

MISS HANNIGAN – The orphanage matron who hates children but is fond of liquor. Very disillusioned, bitter, and cold.

ROOSTER – Miss Hannigan’s no-good brother looking for a quick buck. A sleazy, slick con man.
