Be prepared to sing at least 16 bars from a Broadway type song. Singing from the shows is allowed. You may sing with CD (that has no voices) or a pianist will be there to play

 Gomez Addams - man of Spanish descent who takes great pride in his family and revels in all it means to be an “Addams”,  - Tenor

 Morticia Addams -attractive, leggy, the strength of the family, an easy comedic actress with a sexy, dry wit – Alto or Mezzo

 Uncle Fester - androgynous family member who serves as the musicals narrator, larger than life, an energetic, joyous, child-like presence, vaudeville style comedian with tenor vocals.

 Grandma - a feisty 102 year old woman, fun and quirky, but don’t mess with Grandma, comedic actress with strong character vocals.

 Wednesday Addams - attractive, with the same dry wit and sensibility of her mother, finds love with a “normal” boy (Lucas) strong pop belt vocals.

 Pugsley Addams - charming, funny, husky boy who loves being tortured by his sister, strong, high vocals.

 Lurch -very tall male character, the Addams butler who knows all, speaks in moans and groans low bass vocals.

 Mal Beineke – stuffy father of Lucas and exasperated husband to his rhyming wife, Alice, high baritone/ tenor vocals.

 Alice Beineke – mother of Lucas, devoted to her family so she puts aside her own desires; quirky female who often speaks in rhyme.Comedic actress with soprano / belt vocals.

 Lucas Beineke – attractive, young man, fell in love with Wednesday Addams and plans to marry her, contemporary pop tenor vocals

 The Ancestors - ensemble singer/dancers who sing and have fun with a quirky sensibility,
